Seaton Sluice to Burradon

Leave Seaton Sluice along the peaceful Holywell Dene.  (PLEASE NOTE: The footpath along the west side of Holywell Dene will be closed for maintenance for at least 4 weeks from 16 September. Use the footpath on the eastern side and cross back over to the western side at the footbridge further up the Dene). Continue inland along former waggonways, catching a distant glimpse of Seaton Delaval Hall. Pass Holywell Pond and the ancient Holywell Bridge then after the Pele Tower beside Burradon House, take another waggonway to reach Burradon.

How Do I Get There?

To the start:  
Bus 308 or 309 from Haymarket bus station.

Return:          
Bus X7, X8, to Newcastle or Bus 52 to Four Lane Ends and Metro to Newcastle.
